Slim GSM pickings around here

I have read and read and read around this forum. I have tried many things which seem to be for CDMA phones that work on our GSM versions.
There is a also HUGE post on getting FM radio working for the CDMA that was closed today. It was mentioned many times that we can get the FM radio working on our GSM models. Well I have done searches and you have to have a minimum of 3 charactors to search. FM wont work and Radio brings up a lot of ROM's so I am asking here and hope I dont get flamed to bad for it? Got a link to a how to do this? I prefer to use a cab and not a custom ROM (still scared Ill brick it)

Re: Slim GSM pickings around here

In all honesty, even though PPCGeeks is supporting both GSM and CDMA, it's no secret that the majority of people on PPCGeeks is primarily CDMA. XDA has been known to focus more on the GSM phones. For GSM specific things, that would probably be the best source of information. Not to say you can't or won't be able to get information here, it's just that there are fewer GSM owners here then on XDA. I would start here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=437

Re: Slim GSM pickings around here

Just wanted to post a thanks to all who helped, I have the fm Radio, Google Maps with street view, custom themes and You tube all working now with no problems. Now if I can figure out how to make the Programs tab 4 columns wide like I did in TF2D on my Tilt I'll be set for now.
