Ok, so I have a question, the moisture sticker on the Sprint Pro is red, or at least mine is, when I swapped my Instinct at the store, she was putting the battery in my pro and I said its red, should it be? She said yea its an HTC thing, my Diamond sticker came red. Weird to me, because all of my stickers were always white, can you guys fill me in and let me know if mine should be white please? TYSM

yeah i just got one in the mail today too and mine was red. i was worried too.

It should be white background with cross hatched red marks. If in contact with water, it will turn pink/red.

The HTC stickers have a red "grid" before activation and turn completely red after activation. Hope that helps and puts your mind at ease!

I wonder what makes it red, because when she took it out of the box and I watched her put the battery in, it was red and she said it was normal, I would just hate to have to do an exchange and Sprint say, OMG its red, you got it wet idiot, take it home and buy another, ya know? lol

heres a tip for you boys & girls, get white paper and cut the paper a little bigger than the moist. strip, then get clear tape and cover both. works very well as i work oudoors and my phones get wet lots of times. when you need to remove the tape, the white paper will protect the moistl strip from comming off.

I just wondered why it was red in the first place, made me worry that it had gotten wet in production somehow or something

its because the old stickers are easy to circumvent this one being that it has a pattern that bleeds cannot just be bleached out.
