I have a ProClip & that has happened to me occasionally. After it happened a couple times, I paid attention to it more carefully & it was never a problem after that.

I work at a Sprint Corporate Store and we sell them here, there kind of expensive but work better than anything else I've ever seen.

There was some talk about this flaw with the brodit mount which is basically the same mount but sold via proclip in the USA.

I've not had that happen at all with my VZW tp and the Proclip.

I just got my Proclip in today. Looks good. Those of you worried about the stylus coming out, there is a groove on the side that the stylus is on to allow for clearance you to put in and out without haveing the stylus catch.

However, there is one thing that I noticed. I have a set of BodyGuardz on my TP. It is a little more snug that necessary with them on. In fact, I had one of the side peices begin to peel when I was checking out the fit. I may just leave the side pieces off of the chrome. The inside of the cradle where the Pro clips in, is very smooth so I dont thnk it will get scratched.

Extended batteries "might" fit, but I do not have an extended battery and cover to test.

Do you think its better to order the one with the built on charger, or just use your own. My concern is my charger would be dangling off the usb port subject to moving as the vehicle moves.

Best buy has an adjustable mount that has a bunch of options. It swivels, has adjustable widths, has a vent mount, can be mounted to the dash and has a removable extension arm to bring it closer to you or take the arm off to flush it to the dash. I use the dash mount piece in my Jeep and keep the vent mount piece in my wifes truck. It's 19.99 and located in the cell phone department at Best Buy. I'l try and get some pictures of it but right now the only camera I have is my phone.

I got the bracketron rotating vent mount. I believe it's called the "grip it" or something like that. It works really well for my car. I originally bought it for my mogul, which you'll see in the attached pics, but i'm using now using it w/ my TP, which looks even better. And being that it's able to hold it horizontal, you can have the keyboard open.

and here's a really crappy day pic which doesn't do it justice.

In my car it works really well cause i'm able to mount it in a spot where i can navigate through the menus w/ out even taking my hand off the wheel, just have to extend my finger.
