They have different options, mount only, recharging mount, and then mount with a built in speaker.

I want the one with the built in speaker to use with my Garmin Nav software as well ;)

That is EXACTLY what I want. I hope they come out with one like that.

I sent them an email about two weeks ago asking when/if they will have one available... no response back so far...

How come people are saying proclip is $100? That seems to be if you get the one with an included charger... From what I remember you can get the car mount and holder for around $55 + $10 shipping. Does the cheaper setup not allow you to use your own car charger?? I could live with $65 for the best, but maybe not $100; so please let me know. Thanks.

edit: and does it really keep the phone secure? Going by pictures, it looks like it could fly right out...

Mine too... I just order mine for the Sprint TP until Seidio comes out with theirs with the speaker in it...

I'll report back for all the Sprint TP users when I get it...

No, it doesn't (why would you need to slide the KB out while you're driving down the road & the phones in a bracket??)

If you stream music while driving, having the keyboard open helps with heat dissipation and allows the radio to be used longer before overheating.

True... Proclip makes a bracket for the GSM version that allows the keybrd to be out. But it is out all the time, you can't open and close it. It is either one way or another pending on whcih one you get. They do not have one like this for the CDMA version.... yet....

Re: Looking for a car mount.

I received my ProClip for my Verizonized Sprint TP today and as usual, the phone fits like a glove. Very smooth. I agree with others, ProClip is not cheap. But I've yet to find anything better. I've never found anything that would clip on to my A/C vents without drooping and I don't like anything on my windshield that might obstruct the view on my 2000 Ford Explorer. Simply put, it's well engineered. This is the third ProClip phone holder I've owned and for the second vehicle.

As a sidenote on Seidio products... I know everyone's experience is different... but I find their products to be low quality. I've returned several of their items (and kept two items). I will give them the credit they deserve and say that their customer service is very good. My concern was with their design and with their quality.

For those who have purchased... worth the extra $$$ for the swivel? or will no swivel work just fine?
