Re: Looking for a car mount.
I had a proclip for my 6700 that had a usb charger built in - I used hot glue to fasten my motorola headset onto the cradle so when I slide the phone in place it charges and I can use my wired headset (6700 bluetooth didn't sound that great to clients I talk to while driving) and its been working for over two years.
I'm hoping Proclip releases a device holder for the Verizon Touch Pro that has the 4 in one dongle so I can insert the phone and instantly be hooked up to charging, stereo and wired headset. |

A couple of notes -the "wings" are adjustable and it will hold onto the touch pro well- however it is not a perfect fit -the included instructions are lacking -the vent mount kit will scratch your vent if it is soft plastic On the bracketron web site there are some other options such as a vent mount that rotates- http://www.bracketron.com/index.php?catid=12&pid=14 This looks interesting: http://www.amazon.com/Bracketron-PHV...1624792&sr=8-3 also- it includes the rotating vent mount |
Re: Looking for a car mount.
I asked the seller about this car mount with FM transmitted and the seller confirmed that it will not work with the CDMA TP. So I'm glad I didn't take a chance on it.

Re: Looking for a car mount.
Does the ProClip mount for the Touch Pro allow the keyboard to slide out? It doesn't look like it does. For now, I'm waiting for Seidio's mount, since theirs should allow that (the ones for the Apache did).
I might even mix n match the Seidio mount (phone end) to a ProClip mount (car end)--so I get ProClip's panel mount instead of a suction cup, but with Seidio's ability to slide out the keyboard. Suction cups can stay for a long time but they always do eventually fall. This is dangerous when driving, and can, needless to say, possibly damage the phone, or more likely, bend a cable or jack which is plugged in (has happened to me). |

But I can vouch for the ProClips. I have used them in the past and getting ready to get one for my Pro. Yes, they are expensive, BUT when paried with thier whole system, it is well worth the money IMHO. |

Another question...does the ProClip mount fit with the Seidio 2000mAh extended battery? |
