I stand by these 100%

I own 3. One for my car, my gf's car and I have one on me desk at work.

I went with this one. I did not want to pay a hundred bucks for a car mount

Re: Looking for a car mount.

I have this one for the titan http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/s...hetypeId=10150

There are 2 that verizon sells. One that dosen't swivel and one that does and comes with a suction cup. I don't use the suction cup, I use the vent mount. It works really well and you can swivel it back/forth up and down some to get your viewing position where you want it.
I used this one in a rv trip for some 3k miles and if it breaks I will be buying another one.

Re: Looking for a car mount.

Anyone try this one yet?

the shipping probably makes it kind of pricey, but some folks have ordered the HTC charger from here and said it was fine.

Re: Looking for a car mount.

I use a $10.99 Bracketron iPod vent mount that I got at Best Buy. Been using it for about two years -- it's adjustable, so I used it with my 6700, too -- and I really like it. Never had a phone fly out, fall, slip, etc.

I like the mount because it seems like the least intrusive method. But isn't it bad for your phone to have it sitting right in front of the vent? It's going to have heat or air conditioning blowing right at it.

Re: Looking for a car mount.

the biggest problem is a lot of you linked to Touch Pro models, but these are for GSM and the GSM version is slightly different dimensions so it wont fit into the slot. You have to be careful it is specifically for the CDMA version which is slightly taller and thicker.

proclip- they may be good but most of us dont want to spend $100 for some plastic even if it is the best one.

universals really are the best choice if you change phones you can still use it. Id hate to spend even $50 on one to have to get rid of with the next device. thats why i always use a universal one.

vent mounts- i had one but it blocks the AC in the summer time and (not that we use it here in FL) but the heat blasting on it cant be good for it on top of the heat problems it already has.

Re: Looking for a car mount.

Has anyone tried one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/HTC-Touch-Pro-FM...A1%7C294%3A200

I am kind of wondering about the FM transmitter. I'm inclined to go with a tape one because I have heard so many bad things about FM transmitters and the one I had about 5 years ago really sucked.

This one also looks intersting and is cheap, but seems like it might mess up the phone clipping it in and out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/In-Car-Charger-H...A1%7C294%3A200

I might just go cheap and universal, something like this (and I think someone recommedned this one earlier in the thread):

Any ideas?

That first link looks... actually very nice! I would go with that one because of the FM transmitter. If you get it, tell us how you like it!

Very tempting, but I'm hoping someone can give me a positive review before I drop 30 bucks on this. Anyone tried it:

I picked this up last week when I had recalled someone posted about this and I was in BB.

It doesn't swivel but it fits pretty well. On the setting I use might be a little loose, but it's not going to fall out.

I like it. Very convenient, easy to obtain and cheap.
