has any one flashed the leaked sprint shipped rom and tested this. recreate his situation and this will surely prove him right or wrong. it would be funny if something in the leaked sprint rom is the key although it should be the same as the stock installed rom.

hehehe. Yeah I'm sure. I'm actually pretty-up on these things - mastered the 6700's and just now getting into the HTC Touch Pro's. Been a systems analysist/programmer since 1981 and although I'm no WM expert I have a good understanding of the devices.

Plus mine *does* have a sprint label on it....

Do you have a link to the leaked Sprint ROM? I assume it is a new ROM or an older one before the current ROM?

I belive that is the microphone. I'm using the dongle/headphones that came in the box (which originally came from sprint)
