Returning to email or SMS message list?

On my Mogul if I was looking at the list of email or messages in the inbox or SMS and opened one, then wanted to return to the list after viewing the message I could hit the OK button and always return to the list. On the TP I try using the "Go Back' (arrow to left) or "End" key and it is not a predictable result. Most times I get the next message below the one I have open or it returns to the Home TP screen. Anyone have an answer to return to the message list every time?
