After you download the file all you have to do is to connect your phone to your PC and go to explore on the active sync and navigate to your storage card and drop it anywhere in there. then navigate to your storage card on your phone using file explorer under programs or Total commander and simply run the file by clicking on it. Hope this helps.
Thanks, I'll try this tonight!

go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Download to your PC and make sure you have your phone connected to your PC and run the file from your computer. That will install the app to your phone. Follow the directions and soft reset. You should be good to go from there. Then run skyfire. let me know how it works.

Edit: The post by Mark (below) was made on 12/13/2008

I found this on Adobe's web forums....

*******************************************

Hi,

At a time in the past we provided FP7 for PPC devices and some consumer electronics like the Wii because this was easier to integrate than Flash.. or met the customers requirements better.

For the past year we have been transitioning OEM customers to Flash Lite and this is our goal ongoing.

We have launched a new product called Flash Lite Distributable Player to address the needs of the Windows Mobile developer community. To be clear PPC is not supported for web browsing unless your web browser ships with Flash Lite support.

regards,

Re: Flash Lite 3.1 vs Flash 7 (What's the difference?)

Hi,

We are using Flash as the presentation layer for one of the applications we are developing (for WM5 device). The "rest" of the code is being written in C# CF. We have tested it with Flash Player 7 installed onto the device and it worked as expected but the performance was poor.

I was wondering, as Flash Lite 3.1 is a much newer player, if it would have more optimizations to run smoothly on that sort of device (ARM Processor).

I tried to find any benchmark on the internet which would compares Flash Lite 3.1 and Flash 7 for PPC, but I had no joy.

I imagine Flash Lite 3.1 being MUCH faster than that old Flash 7 for PPC.

As far as I know now I can have Flash Lite 3.1 installed on the device, just like we can with Flash 7 for PPC. Am I right in saying that?

Flash Lite have always had issues with licensing...

Hope 3.1 doesn't have those limitations.

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers

Hm this isn't working for me. When I do the install it says on the next mobile device connection, it will be installed. So it's not picking up my phone as a mobile device, but it sees it as a removable disk.

use the active sync option when the popup shows up instead of the disk drive. you may need to go open "usb to pc" manually under settings->connections if you set it to not show up automatically.
