G-sensor calculator

The iphone has a calculator that switches to scientific mode when you turn the phone sideways. Is there something similar out ther for us?

Smile Re: G-sensor calculator

Thanks, but I already have some of those. I just wanted to get better use out of the G-sensor as well as show my cousin that this phone could do what his iphone could.

Re: G-sensor calculator

Wouldn't be too hard to implement I bet, but honestly ... that's more of a toy feature than a practical one.

It's actually more practical than you think. There are many times when I'd start using a calculator and partway through I'd realize that this would be easier on a scientific one. It would be nice to just rotate and continue your calculations instead of switching to scientific mode and restarting your calculation.

As for practicality, most of touchFlo3d isn't practical. But it's fun and visually pleasing. A G-sensor calculator would be the same way.

Re: G-sensor calculator

Is it so difficult to just open the scientific one? or just click two buttons to switch to scientific?
You just don't need to show iphone users that your phone can do the same things.. IMHO the phone is way better.

Did you actually read my last post? So if you've already started your calculations, wouldn't it be easier to rotate and keep going with what you have so far, rather than start from the beginning?
