Re: Total Equipment Protection
Dont buy any other warranty plan other than TEP. Radioshack has replacement program only lasts for 2 years. I asked what it covered and he said its you get an extra year on the warrenty. Doesnt cover lost or stolen, doesnt cover cosmetic damages, doesnt cover liquid damage, doesnt help at all. TEP will be there until u remove it from ur account and will protect ur phone so u dont have to worry about it that much

Re: Total Equipment Protection
I'm going to get TEP on mine soon, because just the other day, I noticed a small crack in the chrome on the top-right corner/edge.......and I seriously don't remember ever dropping the device...........so durability concerns me.

Re: Total Equipment Protection
To get TEP after the first 30 days just do an ESN swap online to another phone you may have thats not activated, and then swap back and voila, your 30 days starts over and you can add TEP. It works, I have done it.

Re: Total Equipment Protection
I was able to add TEP to my Mogul almost a year and a half after I bought it. I just used the online chat with Sprint and they added it, no questions asked. As for the Best Buy plan, I like it, has it on my last flip phone and it fell off my hip at a fire call and it was run over by a ladder truck, and Best Buy replaced in the store with no problems. The only thing I didn't like about the best buy plan was that it didn't cover lost/stolen phones. In order to take advantage of the plan, you have to have the phone (or pieces of it in my case) and they will take care of you.
