There are several versions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=407667

20090217.5.1 should be latest but lots have had good success with 20080912.5.1

Sorry to revive this thread but I have been trying for over a year to look for a way to get the java gmail app to open opera or mobile IE without giving an error message or doing nothing. I have Opera 10 beta and when I click on a website link in the gmail java app it prompts me with a yes or no question asking me to open the webpage. If I click yes it opens Opera 10 beta but it does not automatically insert the webpage address and therefore does not actually take you directly to the desired website. This is not a critical need but it is an annoying inconvenience to deal with for so long without resolution. Does anyone who have similar symptoms or a possible solution?
