This won't help anything. It's just annoying people who have this thread subscribed. Give it a few days before you bump it again.

Most people aren't that interested in the gmail JAVA midlet, because we already have other, more-integrated solutions that take care of most of our needs, (read: NOT search though.)

I wish there was a WM Gmail application... or something that could be integrated into the WM outlook application... but still gave us that gmail "feel."

Allright. I am used to more rapid responding forums. Sucks for me I can not use Imap or pop.

Why can't you use IMAP4 or POP3? They should both work flawlessly with Gmail.

Also, if you want Push Gmail, there are at least 6 free ways of doing this, including one program that came right with the (Sprint) version. Sprint Mobile Email.

I can not use it because I am on Cricket, and they do not open up pop or imap ports.

What the hell is that? They cripple your internet? Innnteresting. I didn't know they did that.

No fix, I give up... instead I keep it launched in the background (never terminated)... so the message only appears the first time the program is launched.

BUT if smaller text doesn't bother you... the non-vga java works.

It is an java installer includes the gmail and opera mini app. No need to modify anything. Works after installing...even creates icon shortcuts in programs. In GMAIL make sure you goto "SETTINGS" and choose LARGER font. It will make it readable.
