BTW. Just for future reference .msi is a MicroSoft Installer file. It is not specific to ppc's or activesync, it is specific to microsoft.

Yeah I cnt believe they are charging for pocket shield right now because it is really buggy, very nice concept but seems to be at alpha stage at best. S2U2 still needs some work as well. i really cant believe that winmo still has no decent simple iphone like locking system. I often am calling others because a reminder will go off and then something hits the call button. Iphone has been out for 2 years Wince/Winmo for 10+ Fing retarded.....

Re: PocketShield Bug?

go to settings....then I think it's phone or something to that effect....there will be a page with 2 boxes that can be ticked/unticked...the bottom one is the phone dialer{GPSD/GPRD/SOMETHING LIKE THAT} if you read the text next to the boxes you can verify that it is the bottom choice but just untick both on that page....sorry if this is a bit vague but I cannot remember it exactly as it has been a while since I have removed this program....I also go through the registry and delete any leftover traces

Re: PocketShield Bug?

for anybody who had problems with pocket shield, make sure you have the latest version that was recently released. the new version works perfectly for me. although I always used s2u2 in the past, it doesn't seem to work well at all in the tp
