Re: Tom tom install

Anyone know where to buy the updated US maps for Navigator 7 that are not 3 years old?

Re: Tom tom install

TomTom takes a while to lock on to the GPS signal for whatever reason. I did a back to back test of Garmin XT vs TomTom vs Google Maps vs Microsoft Live, and Garmin, Google, Microsoft Live all took 10 - 30 Sec, where with TomTom I consistently had to wait almost a minute.

Just have some patience wait for it to lock on, the software is great!

Re: Tom tom install

TomTom doesnt seem to update the maps for the Navigator software very often, try some of the other Nav software as they always seem to have something up to date.

The Garmin maps I am using are the 2009 versions.
