Registry Edit keeps reverting back to original - Please Help!

I changed the Current Operator Name in the registry from Sprint to my name, (so it shows my name instead of Sprint in the right corner of the top curtain) but it reverts back to Sprint...sometimes it will change back after an hour or so, sometimes it will only take a few minutes. I used Total Commander and just changed the registry that way if it matters.

(HKLM\Software\State\Phone\Current Operator or something like that!)

Does anybody have any idea why it would revert back?!?

I thought it might have been linked to me using the automatic wallpaper changer application, but it did it even after I turned that off.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated...I am a bit of a newbie at all of this!
