is anyone else having problems sending picture mail sprint to sprint or even hvideo for that matter !! i HAVE PICTURE MODE 2m cuz i read a thread. and nothing . guess ill try the fix higgy has see if that works. id hate to have to use smms by ninja like i had to on mogul !!

No issues for me.. You probably have, but make sure you are using the update they issued when the phone first came out... It takes a few minutes to send a picture, but that is normal..

i just tried to send anotherr pic to the same phone i did last night and they got both, the one from lastnight and the one i just sent... weird !! maybe it was down in my area !! yeah i did the update. twice now do to a hard reset !! lol

please help. Can you go to your sprint powerdeck where you got the cab for the picture mail enhancement cab and post the link to it? I lost the cab file for the new enhancement.

the issue I'm having is any time some one sends a picture to me along with multiple other people, the notification rings for each person! So I'm getting 1 pic, but if addressed to 6 people it notifies me 6 times! It gets annoying after hitting "dismiss" just to have it ring over and over. Is there a fix to this or should I re-download the program from the updates on the home page?

I recommend re-downloading the update.. That is weird though! You could also stop the notifications with a registry editm, but that isn't the first option..

That is wierd due to the fact that those notifications should not come to your phone unless your phone is registered under all of those people accounts lol

I still think Sprint Pic Mail (MMS) is a failure. It is just rediculous that you can't even send/receive animated gifs. I've had no MMS issues with any other service (Nextel, Verizon, AT&T). With Sprint SMS is fast, MMS is hit or miss and too restricted to media types.

If you have a "Personalizer" or "MortScript" installed, uninstall them then send a pic to yourself. I did and it worked for me.

yeah it's strange because I'm not on any of their accounts, but is shows me all their phone numbers in the messages too. I'll try to download it again and see what happens.

I agree Savage... Hopefully they can update it and make it faster.. For now though.. I am happy to have Sprint MMS then none at all...

Anyone know why I don't get an audible notification when a picture mail comes in? I only get that little camera icon, but no sound. The text msg and other volume (ring and system) are on.

Is the e-mail notification set to ring? I think picture mail falls underneath that notification..

for future reference, go here on the web browser on ur phone, for the software store for the free picmail cab. then go to free/demo, u'll c the link for the cab from there..add to favs

Be sure you're using the updated application Sprint released at powerdeck site... this update adds the sound part of the notification as it didn't exist in the shipped version. If you have already installed it, try again. Also be sure you've set a sound to your text and email notifications. which I interpretted you had already done.

i am running the update and when i try to watch a video that someone sends me in picmail it doesnt move and i have to scroll down to play the sound

this seems out of the way, but u cud go to sprint.com/picturemail from a PC, log in, then u cud c the video with sound. Of course, if it doesnt play on ur fone, 1st

I've been having picture mail issues today, I'm using Juicy's 4.4 ROM, I can see the picture mail but unable to open them, I get a message about synchronizing.

I got the update, but sending is sometimes not working. Just sits their and sends instantly or in 2 hours. Although I had the same problem way back on my 700p.

Test it with a lower resolution 2mp & then 1mp.
I've found it to send instantaneously @ 1mp.

Rumor is that other carriers block anything greater than 1mp.
But have not confirmed that as fact.

i don't think so, I know sum1 on Vzw..and they take picts at more than 1-2 megapixels and send more fine...and i send and rec'v alot, even when i had the sprint picmail cab...however, sMMS, my man.

My problem with the picture mail is that i am not recieving the pictures. I have the updated version, in fact after I downloaded the updated version is when I started not to receive the pictures... I have no problem sending pictures I just can receive them.

Its just a pain to have to get my laptop out (everytime someone tells me they sent me a pic) and go to sprints picture mail site just to see what they send me.

I still cannot send picture mail. I can receive it. Even received video, but I cannot send a picture. I have the stock ROM, downloaded the update, soft reset after, etc... HELP!

When I click on a picture and select to send it the option to send via text message is greyed out. Will the cab file posted fix this or anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I can confirm that personalizer does break the offical Sprint mail. I have installed it tried picture mail to myself with no luck, removed it and picture comes through fine. Repeated this procedure 5 times same results each time. It's a shame because I like personalizer, but can't justify the trade off.

Same here. It truly sucks. I got the SMMS by SomeGuy from here, which I love. I have no issues sending and receiving pic mail. But even with that and personalizer, it wouldn't work. So I'll see Sprint in my corner cause I love pic mai too much!!

I thought after installing the sprint picmail cab, u hit configure picturemail, then "tap to add", then click on online albums, would do the same thing:scratch:

i just did what you said, although online album was not an option for me so i added it. i have a thread over in the cdma section that talks about this. no solution in there but i took my phone into a sprint store, told them everything, including that the update did not help. so when i picked up my phone they said they installed the update and it works now. i almost punched him in the face. i went right out to my car, sent a pic msg to my wife and 3 hours later it was still not sent. i sure hope this fixes it.
