I don't think it matters that there are so many steps involved to reproduce this, but it's important that it is a problem that is easily duplicated. I had to reboot the phone to keep it from happening each time I closed my keyboard.

so performing the 7 basic ballet moves makes this bug happen,LOL. I really don't mean to make light of this as I have had my fair share of issues with this device as well.

I have to admit, reading the whole thing, it's comical as all hell. It's like some nightmarish form of Touch Pro Twister. But a bug's a bug. And this is definitely a bug.

Its not to me, this happens all over the place on my phone.. random apps popping up all over the place when you slide open the keyboard... its not limited to this scenario but he was just making a point.

yeh i was thinking the same thing. so because you had to take 10 random steps to cause a bug you freak out? I seriously bet this was some kind of fluke and not a ROM bug or anything anyone should be highly concerned with if it took all of those random steps to cause it to happen. Odds of that are higher than winning the lottery. Easy answer DONT DO THAT COMBO. And if you dont like the ROM use another or report it in the ROM's thread, why start a freak out thread over a 1/1,000,000 chance bug like its life or death and everyone must confirm it.

exactly what i was thinking its like complaining you pushed some random 8 button sequence and happen to deprogram your vcr, its a fluke, a random bug that has such a tiny percent chance of happening its not worth dealing with. Easy answer is 1. report the bug in the ROM's thread in the right forum section first of all, 2. use a different ROM if its that big of a huffy puffy thing, and 3. simply dont do that combo of buttons again (dunno why you would in the first place other than trying to force bad things to happen)

lol. Some of you guys will never make it as QA Engineers.

When you reproduce this bug, everytime you open and close the keyboard, the phone app pops up.

I dare you to soft reset while when the phone app pops up.


You won't be able to turn your phone back on for about 5 minutes.


How's that for a 'harmless' bug.
