Re: Help! Predictive Text Not Working
I'm curious about this too.
hbenz2008, got a link? EDIT: This thread? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445959 Are we supposed to try that diable_xt9[1].cab file? What exactly does it do? Last edited by lexluthor; 12-06-2008 at 06:51 PM. |

Re: Help! Predictive Text Not Working
It works great.
Not sure about remembering new entries being a good thing. If you mis-type a word, that gets added to the dictionary automatically. I don't think that's good. Either way, I don't really use it for word completion, so I unchecked suggest words and left on enable auto correct, which seems to add apostrophes in some words (like isn't and won't, but not I'm and I'd). What else does enable auto correct do? |

Re: Help! Predictive Text Not Working
found another thread on xda that manually changes the registry to turn the old wm6 preditive text back on but it appears to have broken the phone keypad skin and compact qwerty one.. but regular qwerty and default windows keyboard work just fine... is that the same behavior you get with running this cab? I assume all it does is make the registry settings I did manually.
in any event... dont care much about the other input skins.. happy to have my preditive text back for keyboard and autocorrect... also seems like typing in text is a lot faster with the other method disabled.
