I purchased one of the clear crystal cases from eBay.

Clear Case - HTC Touch Pro - Link fixed

I was afraid it would cause a problem with the sliding mechanism, but it actually fits perfectly. At first the slide was a little rough, but I found a clear piece of plastic on the backside of the phone that I did not even know was there.

I tried one of the black rubberized cases, but it was a little thick so I switched to the clear. I am thinking about losing the case and just spending the $7 a month for the protection plan.

i just ordrered one. my phone took a hard tumble yesterday and is scratched up to hell now. cracked case as well. i figured i'll drop again and it will break completely or lose it pretty soon (i don't have good luck with phones) and use insurance for a new one. and put the case on the new one.

Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

What's the best, most snug case out there? I tried the HTC case for Mogul, Touch Pro, etc. and it's way too big. So I'm still using the one that came with the Touch Pro. What case is everyone else using?

Has anyone received the new case from Seidio yet (if so, some pictures/general comments on its form factor would be great!)? That one looks really promising...

Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

Probably gonna jinx myself here, but I don't have a case for mine and I haven't dropped mine yet. I do use the case that came with the phone whenever I'm out an about though. I just keep it in my jacket pocket and not on my belt.

I can understand why some people want to protect this puppy since it cost so much and seems so fragile. I just hope to be extremely careful and not drop it.

I don't have insurance on the phone so I hope that doesn't come back to bite me later.

But I hate having a case on my phone. Even the clear one. It's fine for a little while, but personally I just like using it without any protection.. Sorta like...nevermind, bad analogy

I bought this one yesterday from the sprint store, didn't even keep it on my phone for an hour. The tabs that hold it on to the phone are too thick and cause it to bind up when sliding open. I ordered a Seidio case/clip combo last night, I have always been very happy with their stuff. I am a fire fighter and their case on my mogul saved it more times than I can remember, they have an awesome product.

Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

Apparently i suck at taking pics. These pics don't do it justice, but this is my Seidio case. I love the thing. I'm not a fan of shiny things, so having it mostly black makes me happy.
