Camera/Video black screen

The wierdest thing has been happening to my camera app on my Touch pro. When I try to take a picture or a video the screen is totally black, I try to click on the screen and I don't see anything happen as far as the menu that is supposed to pop up. The phone is not frozen or anything because I can hit the end button and it will go back to the Touchflo screen. Not only that but if I click the shutter button it does take a picture and the picture comes out fine, the problem is I just can't see what I am taking. I have tried removing other applications to find the problem but can't, it will start working normal again and I think I found the problem then all of the sudden it will be black again. Sprint won't do anything for me because they say that the conflict is from a third party app that I have intsalled which may be true but if anyone has any advice on how I can find the conflict I would appreciate it.

appreciate the suggestion, but apparently that was not the issue, I went back and looked at all the pictures I have taken and couldn't see my finger in any of them

hard reset and report back. If it works, then i would try installing you programs 1 by 1, each time checking to see if the camera works.

if it don't work after a hard reset, i would say its a hardware issue.

i was just gonna post this im having the same problem. screen black but no image no my finger isnt over the lens. soft set normally brings it back

I've seen this issue too
now my camera doesn't seem to be saving images
it'll click the picture, then spin for about a minute, then nothing
can't find the picture anywhere

I just started using my camera frequently yesterday and this is also happening on mine.....I am going to flash back to stock and return the phone....it is definitely a hardware issue IMHO....

If it is saving the picture, then the camera is working fine, therefore it must be a software issue, seeing as how the screen is proven to work, etc.

Baffles do you believe a third party app is corrupting it...
