No, gyrator is not what im looking for. When the phone screen rotates i want the animation that the omnia has. It can do multiple animations like spinning and flipping. Look in the video.

Yup. The .net stuff is going to be needed for a LOT of apps you will find for the phone, so that's a good first step. put it on the device.
