Re: ATTN: VZW Touch Pro users, keeping or returning??
i could deal with the touch pro on VZW for insurance concerns if not anything else. they arrow wouldnt bother me that much. I do like the cosmetics of the sprint better, but the one thing that says ...I cant buy it for 280 is that it does not work with the OEM nav / BT system on the nissan / infinitis, at least not the way it should. Razors, LG voyager, Sony erricons, HTC 6700, HTC 6800 with WM5, and Samsung PDAs work.
Since HTC and MS are both saying F/Off I really have a difficult time spending 280 on the touch pro regarless of carrier for an issue that hasnt gone away in 2 years. Just blame bill gates i suppose, and HTC for forcing that MS BT stack on us in WM6

Re: ATTN: VZW Touch Pro users, keeping or returning??
I am sure that if the gps can be unlocked it will be. The people here and at XDA are plenty smart enough. However, are we sure that the phone has the capabilities to begin with so that it can be unlocked? I for one am not that bothered by the memory and keyboard (in fact I suspect I may prefer the larger keys and will get used to the M placement), and would like to carry insurance on the phone, but will take my chances with the Sprint version on Verizon if the gps can't be unlocked.

Re: ATTN: VZW Touch Pro users, keeping or returning??
I returned mine. Performance was OK for me, but it's just too darn fugly. Couldn't stand the smudgy high gloss cheapo plastic look any longer. I checked out the Omnia today. VERY nice finish, but the screen was disappointing. So instead, I picked up a Sprint Diamond (nice!) and will be putting the VZW ROM on it.
