Re: car audio auxilary input
Thanks for the repy, i disabled voice command but it still will pop up at random, it seems to happen as i lay the phone down in the console or pick it up again, i know im not hitting any buttons, then after i hang up the call the music will resume in my bluetooth even though i dont have that profile enabled so i unplug the dongle and plug it back in and it goes to the radio..
eventually after fighting with it for a couple seconds gsplayer stops outputting music all together and have to close it out.. |

Re: car audio auxilary input
I think it has something to do with the audio plug in the htc dongle is for a phone headphones, it has wires for left, right, mic and the button to activate a phone call. Something you are doing is grounding out the switch to place a phone call.
You may have to get a specific htc cable to go from the dongle to the head unit to avoid this. |

Re: car audio auxilary input
Thanks, that does make sense, as i said its only when i move it around alot that it will do that, i didnt realize that was for headphones with a mic, i could research it myself but anyone know what cable is necessary for hooking up to a car radio?

Re: car audio auxilary input
I know this is a bit off topic, but I've always thought dongle was a hilarious word. Especially for a piece of technology. It sounds more like a word to describe anything, like a thingamabob or a hoozywhatsy or a dongle.

should, since it says for HTC phones, a standard miniusb to 3.5 that i used with my krzr didnt work with my vogue, so im assuming its because of the special audio hookup with their usb. i also experience a couple occasions of voice command auto-activating with my aux input, but never calling anyone. just thought it was my rom. just realized it doesnt ever happen with standard headphones either. just aux hookup in the car. |
