HTC Home Music - Update Library?
 

I can't find it anywhere. How in the HELL do I get this thing to re-scan for music after I add more tunes? And, how do I remove the sample music? I deleted it, and now I have "!" panels where the two songs used to be.

Does this program suck? Or am I just an idiot and can't find the config options?

goto music tab, hit library, and you can update library there. all songs are listed. i make a music folder on sd card so there all in one place. i also deleted the preset songs in file explorer.

I'm either doing something wrong or it's (shocker) different on the VZW.

I go to Library, and it shows only the songs which were there before. It doesn't show the new artists. It's all in a Music folder on my SD. I have the two softkeys, "Up", and "Menu". Under Menu I have Add to Playlist and Now Playing. Add to Playlist does nothing, while Now Playing goes back to the main screen.

Also, I still have the two demo songs listed. I'm at a loss.

I have an Alltel Diamond and am trying to do the same thing. I have the same soft keys showing up and cannot get it to remove the ones I have deleted from my library...

This is a weird issue... Did you try updating the Windows Media Player also?
