Re: HTC Home Music - Update Library?
You know. Maybe I"m looking at this incorrectly late at time.
MY "now playing" list had all of "old" files.. the deleted files. All that junk we all want to get rid off. From the htc music player. I selected "library" used to slider to go over to "all songs". This list appeared to be accurate for me. no duplicates, and the deleted songs were not listed. I think double clicked on one to start it up in the player. then while the song was playing I clicked "library" again. the "now playing" came up. I did sorta expect it to go to the "all songs". But the "now playing" was accurate. it did seem to remove all the duplicates.. the deleted. and the "!" entries. maybe this works for you all.. |
Re: HTC Home Music - Update Library?
I don't seem to have that problem, but what I do notice is that depending on how the music file is coded, the music shows up differently in the player. I keep all my albums in folders and drag to folder to my music folder on my SD card. For example, some of my albums have the album artist as say... Jay-Z. So when I got to Jay-Z, i see all his albums listed there. For some reason, some of my album folders don't list the artist, so if I go to and artist like Jay-Z and look for the Black Album that I just added there, it won't be under his name, but if I go all the way to the bottom and look under the Unkown Artist Folder, the Black Album is there, along with a bunch of other albums with no artist coded in the folder file.
Not sure if that makes sense to yall, but maybe check that unknown artist file and see if the latest stuff you added is in there. |
