I have it set to Letter Recognizer and do at least one soft reset a day. It works like a charm every time. have you uninstalled-reinstalled?

Ok, thanks. I have edited the post. I tripped to it because someone told me they saw it in an iPhone commercial.

Well, as I said, I'm no pro, and you may have tried all these already, but here are some thoughts...

1. Are you actually choosing the SIP form the "Available SIPs" list from within the program, then hitting select? If you just change it from the bottom of the screen, it won't keep.
2. What input are you trying to set as the default? Try setting it to letter recognizer and see if it holds.
3. Are you giving your phone ample time after the reset? I noticed that if I start using it the second TF3D boots then sometimes SIPChange won't kick in.
4. Check under \Windows\StartUp- do you see SIPChange there?
5. I have the T9 shut off (do this from the "Full QWERTY" SIP, it's between shift and space)
6. What other programs or hacks are you using, such as SBC or the old school word correction hack?

As I said, I have the programs and hacks laid out in my first posts and it works great for me. Good Luck!

set it to 60 seconds, if that doesnt work due to a lot of startup items, try 90... then you should be good

i installed a few cabs, one of them HTC XBUTTON and now the task manager on the top right has dissappeared how do i get it back! if it matters i also downloaded shazzam, framework 3.5, htorch and the registry editor. thanks

That was meant for the mogul, the TP alredy has it built ih. Go to Start menu settings, system tab, remove programs and uninstall it, let me know if that doesn't work!

You have Total Commander listed and then a reg editor listed under it. Total Commander IS a registry editor.

I was interested in updating Opera with Flash. Downloaded the zip file. When using Total Commander, where should I unzip the file? Windows?
