The red "x" means the app is "marked" for closing. When you nav to the next screen, all marked programs close.

Open up aebutton's config screen, and in the menu there's an option called taskman exceptions... highlight a space on that screen, then in the box below type the name of what you want excepted... In my case, I've created exceptions for start and phone.. make sure you save and quit to exit, or it won't take the exceptions.

Thank you. That does work to close apps but I was just hoping to be able to close the thumbnails by taping and holding them right in the task screen the way he does in the video at :43 seconds and again at :53 seconds. It's just nicer to be able to close the app instantly rather then marking it for closure and then needing to go to another screen to have it actually close. I'm not trying to be picky but the way he makes it look in that video is awesome. I want that!

Does anyone know how to disable the battery meter in Wktask? The one on the very top of the screen??

Click and hold the right hand top of the screen, then click on "Preference..."

It's on "General 2" Tab, uncheck the "Show Battery Gauge on the upper bar".

Done.

magicbutton doesn't work properly for me plus it makes tf3d lag like crazy. maybe mb doesnt like tf3d...

oh i don't use tf3d, so that's why i recommended magicbutton, sorry!

I use quickmenu, and im not sure if this is a problem with it but:

Everytime I switch to a task, it switches to the task for a second, then shoots me back to where I came from. Then I have to click the task again, and it sticks. Always takes 2 tries.

Why is this?

Well TaskFacade started crashing constantly, so now I just use the built-in WA3 title bar tasks.
