I too use quickmenu. I used AEbutton Plus to assign my end key with 2 presses to launch it. Use the Dpad to switch apps. No more tapping the top left of the screen which 50% of the time, I'd have to tap a few times. I also added the Reset App to the bottom of my qmenu list so I can easily reset the phone if needed.

Tried WKTASK and it's nice but not my cup of tea (too cluttered to show all running apps) ... anyone using anything else they can recommend?

If you are going to use AE Button Plus too, you probably do not need any of the application switcher programs. AE Button Plus allows you to map any hardware button to an application. So you can just configure one of the button to run Window Mobile's "Task Manager" (recommend using either double press or long press, so you will not have to give up existing single button press mappings that phone has as default). The Task Manager allows you to switch between open applications as well as close them. It's pretty much the same thing as the HTC Task Manger. Here's link to Magic Button, if you want to try: http://www.trancreative.com/ScreenShots.aspx?code=mb |

Re: What is everyone using to switch between task ?
I had WKtask running on my Mogul but I had problems with it on my Touch Pro. Whenever I made a change on setup it would error out when I tapped ok or done. The changes would still take but the config program would crash.
After seeing the above post of MButton I decided to try that. I installed it last night and so far everything is working nicely. I am giving up the launcher which is one of the main reasons I wanted to use WKtask instead of the HTC task manager. The main plus of WKtask - imho - is that you could swipe across to jump to the Today Screen or swipe down to get the launcher from most applications that you might have open. Is anybody having good success with both Mbutton and WKtask on a TP? TIA, tsp |
