Gmail Problem Solve?

Have the gmail problem been solved yet? I tried deleting account, installing different types of registry editing cab but still i'm still having problem sending emails. The weird part is i received email just fine. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I called tech support and had them help me setup the outgoing mail server. I think you need to use your sprint account...This works for me!

Where do you enter the sprint information in? I entered in the stmp imap info but i can't find the sprint info.

I just called tech support, and they helped me setup the info. I then made a provxml to set it up in my rom. I just added my sprint username, password and outgoing mail server.

This problem really, really sucks! It seems like mine quits when I need it the most or have done a large e-mail. For example it just stopped working this morning. It had been working for about 3 weeks without a problem. First time I have problems with this on the TP. Just to happen a lot with my Mogul.

The only solution that I have found tthat works is to delete the gmail account and create it again. And of course the e-mails in my outbox are lost.

Does the Microsoft patch work?

Just make sure it is TLS.

Knocking on wood here as I type, I'm not having any trouble with GMail either. Had one message not go, but I was messing around with WiFi and I'm sure I caused the trouble.

There is a hotfix from microsoft for the 6.1 OS.

I started noticing the problem when i install that hotfix.... thanks though...
