My computer won't recognize my Touch Pro anymore!! HELP?!

it used to, now it doesnt. its plugged into USB, its charging, just not recognized as being connected to active sync

i think i recall disabling or deleting a network connection that said WinMo device

have you tried reinstalling active sync? just to rule out the basics.

i had this issue before with my mogul, i think i did that first and it worked. ill see if i can remember anything else i did.

I'd plug it in, go to the device manager and see if you have a PDA, USB device or anything else that has a splat on it. If so, remove it, then plug the PDA into a different USB port and see if it reinstalls the driver correctly.

my divices do this from time to time...try soft resetting ur device and also rebooting ur desktop pc...once i do this it always works fine for me afterwards...

Wow! How funny is that! I had the exaCT SAME PROBLEM ABOUT 2 hours ago. I went nuts installing and uninstalling and finally found a solution, I simply plugged in my old mogul and that connected fine. I unplugged it and tried the Pro and bam! it worked again! So try pluggin in a different ppc. If it works... just thank me. good luck.

Ohh... i did restart the pc and ppc like 10 times and thbat did not work either. So tryh what I said on my last post.

This happens to me randomly as well, I would usually just use a different usb port and its good to go.

This use to happen to me ALL the time. I got FED UP with it so I started syncing wirelessly & never had any problems again
