i use gyrator 2 and it locks when i put my stylus in. so i typically use my phone then pop out and pop back in the stylus to lock it but i hear ya. my method sucks too. the long press end key lock should b shorter, takes too long

So there's no software button like the old 'Today' screen's 'Device Lock' option?

I use SensorLock, when you turn the device on the screen is locked, you pull the stylus out to unlock.

pocketshield is great combined with aebutton plus
