iGo does support TTS. I had a friend with it and as we were coming to a street to turn it would say "in 500 feet turn left onto Ridge Road then turn left onto Stale Street." I really like iGO.. it's got a nice interface.

I run OnCourse which I believe is a iGo product. It's just about like it except it's the 2008 version with updated maps. Really nice nav software.

Igo is great but it chooses when it wants to speak. It randomly disables TTS which pisses the hell out of me. Today for example, it will not speak even after multiple resets so I got pissed and drove without it. When I arrived and turned on my phone it says "make the next left then you will arrive at your destination". POS program :banghead:

Any other program that supports TTS?

Hey, that's not a bad idea. I've been thinking of getting it, but didn't want to have to use their sd card and not be able to have my own...maybe I should look for one too. That's been the biggest thing stopping me from picking it up. Thanks for the heads up.

PM me, that stopped me from buying it for the longest time also........

Google Search FTW!! This means that you don't really have to worry about having the most up to date data file for finding that new restaurant :headbang:

Garmin XT also allows you to locate the cheapest gas prices close to you (by grade, which most apps don't do).

Also tells you traffic info, overall a very complete product except for TTS (which is hard to come by on the PPC).

Question for my fellow Garmin users out there, do you notice a PITA lag when your Touch Pro is navigating? Meaning it tells you to turn too late??

Yes, yes i do. It is very irritating. This did not happen on my touch or my mogul. Anyone have any ideas?

I just bought Garmin XT off Ebay. The $30 data plan with Sprint that includes navigation is not worth it for me.

It is arriving on a 2 GB microSD card. Is it possible to copy the app to my 8 GB microSD card?

I'm guessing I'm getting an illegal copy so the answer is no? Any way to work around it?

ick question I hope someone can help me with. I read on a thread you can have the turn by turn directions come in through a BT headset, but i can't get mine to do it. Can anyone help me out with how to do this?
