Converting Contacts to Windows Live Contacts

Is there a way I can convert my regular contacts to Windows Live contacts? For instance, if I have a contact that is made by worldcard it puts it in a separate directory on my phone that does not sync with Windows Live. I have a number of these like "Directory Assistance."
