Yeah, I just launched the app again and says I have 5 days free left after that its 9.99. I think I will just uninstall it.

You cannot get this for free. It checks your account every time you launch it. But $10 per month is well worth it for this program. Any decient GPS is going to cost close to $200 so $10 month is worth it. No outdated maps ever and real time traffic. Only drawback is you need to have data available for it to work. I have Tom Tom loaded as a backup.

On my Sprint Razr, it would keep resetting, at one point it told me I had 48 days left on my 15 day trial.

I'm getting in on this thread late, but it seems like people are still having problems. If you have Simply Everything or the Everything Data 900/450, unlimited Sprint GPS Nav is included with your package. I bought my Touch Pro at Best Buy and had them put me on the Everything Data 900 plan, but wound up getting the error like alot of people here - "$9.99/mo, $2.99/day to continue". Customer service gave me the same line about, "Blah, just tell it ok and it will work." It never worked, it just kept erroring out. I downloaded the Telenav program like other people, but that never worked. ***End result: I did a hard reset on the advice of a friend (which obviously would have sucked if I had the phone for longer than a couple days.) The Sprint NAV program gave me a trial notice for the first 5 days, which is now gone, and the program has worked without issue for 2 weeks. It's a PITA solution, but buying another program seemed stupid since I'm already paying for Sprint's.

I DO NOT have everything plan. I DO have unlimited data. I just took a trip to Louisville and needed to use the sprint navigation and it absolutely charged me $11 to use twice. I'm pretty pissed, but they will likely take off the charges. The point is.... it IS NOT FREE unless you have everything plan. Maybe some people get lucky and it isnt charge for what ever reason, but it is not free by policy. PEACE.

at first glance, that geoterrestrial program is pretty nifty.
i wonder where they get the maps from? is that just basically google maps?
i really -love- the weather that follows you. i've been wanting that for a long time.
but i want something that integrates with, well, everything else.
liek, wouldn't it be neat to somehow tie the weather location to the touchflo3d weather panel?

Its free with the powervision plan, thats why they told you that. I doubt it would be free with his Sero plan.

What the hell? I'm hearing 4 different things here...

IS THIS or IS THIS NOT included with a standard plan's internet package?

Re: sprint navigation

what the hell is a powervision plan? i think they stopped calling it that a while ago.
there is the basic "Vision" which is just data.
then there's the vision "premier" pack, which is like an extra 10 or 15 a month, and that includes navigation, nfl, tv, and a buncha other stuff.

if you only have data and want sprint nav, that's $10/mo.

mapquest, when it gets going on the pro, is like $4.12 a month or somesuch.
