youtube app. NO VIDEOS!!!!!!
 

just tried the youtube app. and we get a pop up message that says No Videos,,, whats up with that!! im thinking it might be because of the new youtube live thing that started!! anyone else have this problem...is there a fix? or is our youtube app. prettymuch worthless now???

Sprint is having internet outages and problems on there data side. They don't even have an eta on a fix. This is probably whats causing the videos to be down.

im thinking it may have something to do with them going live!! im not sure if that happened yet, but it could be the issue.
the other thread i started actually went off subject a little,, the problem was that, from the youtube app< there is a little envelope to send the video!! and that does not work!!
but i think that is related to the pop and imap email problem, wich by the way did not correct it self, afted installing the cabs for fix from microsoft..

yeah you can just go through the browser., but that just defeats the purpose of having an aplication that is designed to do something, and it is exactly that something that it is not doing!

I just spoke to sprint technical support - they said they haven't received any calls regarding the youtube app yet, so start calling - maybe they will fix it if they get enought complaints. Their "Advanced Tech Support" representative (I had to speak to 3 different people) was going to have me perform a hard reset of the phone. I haven't backed up my contacts (and don't have my microsd card) so I said thanks but no thanks.

Does the app work on anyone's Touch Pro, or is it only a few of us who are experiencing this issue?

If a whole bunch of people are reporting it here, and we're all in different geographical regions, it is NOT a problem specific to one person's phone--period. Don't let the techs BS you. Yes, the issue needs to get escalated to the higher-ups in Sprint's tech/network centers. (Luckily YT is not an "essential" thing on the phone, but it is a cool one. :))

Why don't we have someone with a Fuze try it and see. That way we know if the problem is with the app or something else.

Is there anyone with a Fuze that can try? If the Fuze people are having the same problem, then calling Sprint would be useless cuz it's not their app.

I have the same issue here, say's no videos. I tried the youtube app on my Ipod Touch and it say can not connect to youtube.

Now THIS is interesting. May be a YT issue even more widespread than just Sprint! Can anyone else confirm--iPhone users, etc.?

on the line with sprint tech support about the issue, I'm being told that Youtube is a third party company and the sprint has no information available.

I have been given a phone number by the sprint 2nd tier tech to contact Youtube. The phone number is 8778469997 ........ lol its a sporting goods business.

got that from xda... a couple people said they called htc and that was the reason... so we'll be alright soon i guess
Also, fuze people had problems, but some claim it's starting to work again but the thumbnails arent showing up still.

I had a co worker try out YouTube on his iPhone earlier today and was working, also a friend of mine with a Tilt and the G1 phone works just fine.

Even people who have the Sprint Touch Diamond it seems to work ok, which is weird.

yeah guys its working again, I just checked it. It actually seems a little faster to me, who know maybe they were updating lol. Thanks to PPCGEEKS and everyone on here for saving me another trip to best buy.
