Re: Who is tired of TF3D and are not using it anymore?

This is just my opinion:
I like my phone but I have to be honest this phone was created to be a competing iphone which is nowhere near as an iphone.

It has alot of things that annoy the %^*($% out of me the lag on the tf3d is a major one. the other is when txting the conversations to me it does not update so you have to navigate to keep track of who is txting you (only with multiple txt msgs) the cam is delayed almost any picture you take has to be completly free of motion if not you will get blur.

When 1st turning on the phone it takes a while before you have it fully up and running. Kinda reminds me of loading vista on a p4 with 512mb of memory SLOOWNESS.

But overall its my phone and its still very useful and I like it and no Im getting rid of it because i am hoping htc and ms will fix some bugs. HTC needs to redo the interface add some basic features such as ability to change the font color and size because sometimes white color is not the best thing.

I use it, have always used it, and will still use it until a replacement comes along that is more functional yet just as slick. TF3D is responsive and fairly quick for me.

Re: Who is tired of TF3D and are not using it anymore?

I want to love it. I really really do. I love how slick it is, but hate the fact its slow as beans loading some tabs.

I may, jump ship and give mobile shell a go again, but i really didnt like it before. Its a shame really.

So, yeah I'm still using it, but sadly its making me hate my device. Maybe a rom update will come and fix some of the slug.

Re: Who is tired of TF3D and are not using it anymore?

I have tried it many times, and everytime I turn it back off within 2-3 uses of the phone.. Just cant stand it... Want HTC Home back, or something like Samsungs Today screen or Main Menu... I want a quick and easy, slick, main screen, but want to be able to do all the other things that windows is capable of.. But most my time is spent on a few programs and dont need all the BS in the middle..

Re: Who is tired of TF3D and are not using it anymore?

TF3D is not the best for everyone but if you do use most of the tabs (or customize them) it is fairly efficient. Personally, I like the mail/sms tabs. It lets me preview quickly without opening anything. I also like the picture/music tab but that's because I actually use them. As for lag, I use Juicy's roms and they are pretty much night and day compared to stock. Once everything is up and running I rarely experience tf3d lag. I've used SPB mobile shell but it just doesn't seem much more efficient for my use so I went back to tf3d. PointUI 2.0 looks promising but who knows when that will be out...

P.S. Looks like you won't be able to use iDiamond much longer. It's a time limited beta...

Re: Who is tired of TF3D and are not using it anymore?

HTC Home2 on mine. I do like some of the features of TF3D, but I don't have the time to sit and wait for it.

Still leery on doing a custom rom just yet.
