Re: New Tricks with Pro
So I saw the first post on turning the phone around and it will go to vibrate. Do you have to get a 3rd party app or is this stock functionality? Mine doesn't go to vibrate no matter what direction the phone is facing. I am also running a custom rom so maybe it wasn't included in that?

Re: New Tricks with Pro
there is a reg edit for that, I don't know exactly where I saw that. It was working for some people right out of the box, but not for others. I will look through the registry and see if I can find it again.
I thought there were 2 parts but only remember this: HKLM > Software > HTC > Phone change FaceDownMuteRing from 0 to 1 This was the only thing I changed. The second part was already set to what it was supposed to be. |
Re: New Tricks with Pro
Thanks for the reply! I took a look at that key and it is set correctly, so I am guessing I am missing the other half. ;)

Re: New Tricks with Pro
In the photo album app, when you're viewing a picture, you can circle part of the image with your finger/stylus and it will zoom in on that section of the picture. Double tap and it goes back out to full zoom.

Re: New Tricks with Pro
If you take out the stylus ...and place it right next to the TP it'll still pull the pen towards the phone ( the magnet is pretty strong I guess). Cool trick to show your drunk friends, I guess.
And yes Oh RLY ! |
Re: New Tricks with Pro
I haven't tried this yet myself, but I have heard that this phone has a tool in it to help with message boards like this... I think it adds a search button at the top of each forum, that way you can tell if what you are about to type has already been written... Plus it may help you decide if you have the right forum/subforum to post in. ;)

Re: New Tricks with Pro
to add to that, if circle clock wise, then hold your finger where you want to zoom, it will zoom in there. Let go and it will stop zooming. Keep it pressed down for max zoom.
