they had wifi because they used a wifi card inserted in them.. i was shocked when i found that out.. since when they made cards that give your phone wifi??

No idea.. If I remember correctly the difference between the 700w(verizon) and 700wx(sprint) was memory. The sprint had more memory. Mayber the X stand for Xtra ram. LOL. Still a good phone though miss it a little bit.

Sold seperately (maybe other carriers include this SD Wifi card).

Sounds good to me "X"=extra memory I will go for that.

Sorry for all the confussion on the "X" meaning "wifi/wireless commuication"....my bad.

True "Window" Treos are a great phone and I was that close to getting one, but what turned me off were those tiny keys if it was not for that I would buy one in a heart beat.

Naw this is what they meant, 1st 700w (Verizon)=sucked, 2nd 700wx (Sprint)=fixed all the issues with the 700w , 3rd Verizon came out with the 700wx.
