Re: TP Locking Up Overnight

This has happend to my wife's phone a couple of times. I haven't had this problem yet, both our phones are under three weeks old. I think I am going to take hers up to the Sprint store before our 30 days is up and exchange hers for a new one. I just hope it won't have the same problem.

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight

This happens to me also almost once a day. I try to keep it charging at work on a motorola charger and it'll lockup. But everynight i charge it at home with my TP charger and it's never locked up. I've had this phone for about a month and it did it on mighty 4.16 and 5. Mighty Rom 5 doesn't have TP3d

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight

Mine did it after the first few days of having it. Only once, haven't had it happen since. No hard reset needed. Just took out the battery and put it back in, good to go.

This had to be 3 or 4 hours on the charger by the time I noticed.

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight

It would be great to figure out what is causing this, I don't believe it has anything to do with the Today Timeout however, I have NEVER used that and my TP does this about once a week, sometimes less. Ayone got any new ideas on this as it is a problem...?

Install GAlarm 1.5.1. Once you run the program, it will ask if you want to fix the freeze bug. Say yes and kiss the bug good bye.

I had lockups almost weekly before GAlarm, now I am going on 7 months without a single lockup.

Call it bs if you want, but I am not exaggerating at all, thats the real deal and GAlarm fixes it. 1.5.1 is free btw.

Do you know what changes from GAlarm that fixes this? Something in the registry? I'm very curious to find out as I have multiple friends with the device and I'm sure not all of them want the application, so if there is just a "fix" for it then that would be perfect! haha

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight

I wish I could tell you. I have no idea how or where or what it does, but when you install it detects the bug and asks if you want it fixed Sorry I am not more help, but it's worth the 1 app, even if you never use it (though it is like the best alarm app out there).

The lock while charging happened to me once in 6 months but then I don't charge overnight very often, if at all.

What exactly is Today timeout?

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight

Mine froze on my a couple of times. However, I decided to perform a soft restart before going to bed every night. Since then, hasn't froze on me and it's been about 8 months now.
