oops, I skipped a page and the answer was there lol. OK so before I do a hard reset, will it erase everything off my phone like an reimage?

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight
I would like to report that my phone has not frozen up since I started reading this thread 2 weeks ago.
1) I turned off the "Turn off device on external power" checkmark 2) now using an old ppc6700 charger instead of the TP rapid charger. |

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight
uh, so you basically got around the freezing-while-powered-off problem by keeping it from turning off? That's not much of a solution...

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight
Well I don't see anything wrong w/ it being on while it's plugged in, so it is better than nothing if it works.

I think there are hardware differences/problems that are causing this. My friend still has my old Apache and it doesn't ever freeze. Alarms every morning. |

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight
I took mine to Sprint and they said I am the first person they have ever heard of with this problem. I told them I did a hard reset to see if that would fix it, but sure enough it froze.
Sooo they said a tech would look at it, come back in an hour. I came back and they said the tech did a hard reset and it will fix the problem. Since Saturday I have had 2 lockups (with all default settings, nothing unchecked). I am taking it in again tomorrow to get a new one ordered... they said before that they'd get me a brand new one if I had anymore problems so at least I will get a more recent build date *knocks on wood* I hope they have the heat/charge issue figured out with the newer builds! |
