This is a programming problem with Skyfire, not with the Touch Pro. And I bet this happens on all VGA resolution phones. Relax, a version that supports VGA fully will come out before you know it. Also, you may want to check the Touch Diamond forum for threads about Skyfire, because the phones are very similar.

i only tested with youtube. im messing with customizing a rom so I doubt ill get to it tonight but when I get it back on my phone ill try.

Skyfire with vga
Ive searched but could not find much. Is there any eta on skyfire on our diamond's and pro's? Im very impressed with my new device but I miss my favorite internet browser.

gotta think about it this way, the QVGA version is still in the beta testing stages so VGA release is probably a good while away like darren said.

Its a vnc based browser im pretty sure... so it prob takes more bandwidth to do 640 and get decent response rates and frame rates...

I completely agree but from a business aspect It would've probably made sense to put more effort especially if they're planning to charge $. Not very many people with older devices would really buy this especially with tcpmp and other solutions.
