Yea, i noticed the same problem too, but not on the corner. i have always treated my touch pro with care.

if its one of the early ones that got recalled they will. otherwise no. but all you have to do is go online and add it to your account. It's always better to have it and not need it than not have it and need it.

I have an early Sprint Touch Pro with a (supposedly) affected ESN. I also have ESRP. I emailed e-care about the crack in the chrome and plastic next to the screw and linked a howardforums thread where a quote from the service bulletin was pasted. I received the following response:

Dear Eric,

Thank you for your reply. On behalf of Sprint, I apologize for the
inconvenience caused due to the issues with your phone.

There are no known issues for the Touch Pro phone.

I have an Alltel TP, (still under manufacturer's warranty) and Verizon says they are replacing it with an "As New" replacement for free.

I have a pretty nice size crack right about the up volume key. Know that you mention it it really is more of a hole than crack because a piece of chrome is missing completely. I feel it is not worth the 100 fee for an insurance replacement. The hardware still works great for me with all the trouble i hear other have had with there touch pro, Dead keyboards, malfunctioning displays and the like.

Verizon says they will replace mine under warranty (I don't have phone insurance). Time will tell if I have any problems, but they seemed to be willing to replace it fairly quickly.
