That all assumes you believe they work. If you don't believe they work, then you realize they'd both give you roughly the same results (ignoring the fact that computers can't produce genuinely random numbers)

lol...you've inadvertently given me an idea... If I was to make this, I would have it where it gives different answers per which way it's turned, or perhaps even better, per how long it's turned that certain way.

So, lets say I need a "random" answer in my favor...
Ex: I'm asked to do something I don't want to do, and I say I will do it if the 8-ball/phone confirms it.
So I ask the 8-ball "Should I jump on the live grenade?" Then I'll turn the 8'ball over (maybe shake it just for fun) and while turned over it will count 2 seconds as it scrolls through each response, and I'll know the response of each one without looking... First 2 seconds is yes, next 2 seconds is maybe, next 2 seconds is no...etc.
If I want to LOCK the answer in for next attempt then I'll hit the VolumeDown button as the toggle for that, and if I want to truly randomize the answers then I'll hit the VolumeUp button as the toggle for that ability.
That way it really is a magic trick...even though a simple one.
And the grenade has already went off before even getting the answer so I win either way.
