Yea I was thinking of doing the same thing (exp. since you can purchase it for only 15$ from pocketgear.com). So if I decide to move over to the stock ROM on the TP, can I use Spb backup to get all of my registry changes and programs installed, or is it ROM specific?

ppcpimbackup does the same thing. I have mine backup daily at midnight everything day. It auto rotates the backups so there is only a weeks worth of backups.
