Is there any good software that will make the touchpro function as a USB webcam?

probably not exactly what you want but livecast is an awesome free app... comvu.com
basically transmist live video and sound to the web to store or stream live for anyone to view. I've used it in the past to play some funny jokes on friends at work. We have cameras all over our government building and i hide my phone with the program running in someone's cube. I then made my comvu.com site look all govt. official for our work and told everyone that i figured out how to access the cameras in our room. I had everyone fooled and they couldn't believe it. I told them we were being watched in all of our cubes. LMAO. |

Another solution that I use, and quite enjoy is Webcam Plus.
http://www.ateksoft.com/webcamplus.html It turns your PPC into a webcam that works over activesync, bluetooth, or wifi. I use it with skype on my home PC if I want to show someone something in my house, I just load it up and I can even still talk to them through the phone. I just drag the phone around with me and point it at crap, much easier then dragging a desktop computer with a webcam around or even a laptop. |

No, there is a trial though.
I have not tried it on my touch pro, only on my old mogul. I guess there is not a vga compatable version. |

sorry didnt look before i asked, theres a setting for resolution, but it freezes my device up when i try to set it to the pros resolution.

That setting for resolution is for the camera's resolution.
