Music in TF3D
I had music on a previous memory card that was automatically added to the TF3D phone library, but I just switched to a new memory card and now all those old songs are still in the phone library, but they all have error marks because they cannot be located... How do I update the library in TF3D to get rid of all these missing music files.. Thanks!

Re: Music in TF3D
Do a soft reset first just to be sure. Then, go to your Music tab, then click on Library. slide over to All Songs and click on any song that should now be from your current library. That should clear up the old list and get all of your new songs up on the now playing tab.

grr
is there any way to search or jump in this music player? i get one podcast that has no tag info other than the title, and it starts with U, so the only way to get to it is to scroll thru all my music. yuk. |

Re: Music in TF3D
While I love the cool factor in using Touch Flo 3D to access this music player, that's about the only good thing about it. The negatives I've found so far are: -You can't turn off the screen and have the music continue to play, which really sucks the battery life out of the phone -It is awkward to create playlists and navigate from song to song -It is slow when you add a large amount of songs. I don't want this to turn into another "what music players are the best" thread, but unfortunately I had to go with a third party music player. I went with Kinoma Player because it does ALMOST every thing I want. Plus, with it's brilliant interface with Orb, I can access ALL of my music on my desktop extremely quickly. If I have no cell connection, like on an airplane, my 8 gig card has got plenty of music, but if I'm in my car, I can smoothly and easily access every single song I own. The only thing I feel I'm missing with it is the cool access to it from Touch Flow 3d. That goes for any third party music player though. If I can figure out a way to have the Music tab on TF3D launch my own music player I'd be thrilled.

Is there a thread somewhere that explains the use of orb?

Music should definitely continue to play with the screen off. It's just you :P

Re: Music in TF3D
yeah, after a few seconds my phone turns off and the music keeps on playing.

Re: Music in TF3D
I think what he's talking about is... if you press the power button to turn off the screen, the music then stops.
If you let the auto timer to turn off the screen, it'll keep playing. Having to rely on auto can be annoying for many people because they either have it disabled or they have it set for minutes not seconds. we should be able to turn it off via tapping the power button on command. Don't know about you guys, but picking a song and waiting 40 secs for the backlight to turn off before placing it in my pocket is annoying. |
