What he said^. The screen will turn off on it's own after a long time but I want to be able to toggle the screen on and off without it stopping the music.

there has to be a fix since S2P and i think kinoma can both play after turning off the screen.. im assuming we'll be able to change which music player tf3d uses eventually...

The negatives I've found so far are: -You can't turn off the screen and have the music continue to play, which really sucks the battery life out of the phone -It is awkward to create playlists and navigate from song to song -It is slow when you add a large amount of songs. I don't want this to turn into another "what music players are the best" thread, but unfortunately I had to go with a third party music player. I went with Kinoma Player because it does ALMOST every thing I want. Plus, with it's brilliant interface with Orb, I can access ALL of my music on my desktop extremely quickly. If I have no cell connection, like on an airplane, my 8 gig card has got plenty of music, but if I'm in my car, I can smoothly and easily access every single song I own. The only thing I feel I'm missing with it is the cool access to it from Touch Flow 3d. That goes for any third party music player though. If I can figure out a way to have the Music tab on TF3D launch my own music player I'd be thrilled.

uhm I think that may be you. I was listening to music yesterday and I turned it off and the music kept playing, plus the volume worked when off!
I usually have a playlist file so I add it to my music directory and I'm good to go. But the Kinoma player is great, especially on youtube, but it ate my battery on the mogul!
And my TP battery may be just as short as the mogul so I'll stick with the TP music player. Boring as it is, the thing does work..

I have tried and cannot figure it out either. I went into Media Player from my pc and clicked advance tag edit options, then under pictures pointed to the Album Art, clicked Front Cover, saved and then sync to my memory card and the album art still doesn't show up.

From this thread, it looks like you may be the only one who is able to turn off your screen and have the default music player continue to play from TF3D. Maybe we can find out how you're able to do that, it would be helpful. Also, did you find that Kinoma drew a lot of battery in normal local music playback or just when it was connected to the net for YouTube (or I guess Orb too)?

I noticed that the music continues to play when you hit the power button only if a headphone is plugged in. Whether its the one that came with it or bluetooth headphones.

What I did was go into Windows Media Player from the PC and click on Adavance Tag Edit, from there click on Picture, select the appopriate file that contains the art work and under that click (front cover) in remarks type Album Art. After that I copied and pasted all the files onto my storage card under my Music Folder and *poof* all the Album Art was there.

Confirmed, you can turn your screen off manually by having headphones plugged in (in my case i have a miniusb adapter for a 3.5mm jack). was playing music through my car speakers a couple minutes ago. Don't know why they don't allow you to do it without headphones plugged in... guess it's a safety feature to save battery. There must be a workaround to allow manual turn off no matter which situation though.
