Dumb question:

great question.
I have just left the one on that was on when it arrived, but in 3 days it has become very scratched up already. I am wandering if the new one that did not come on the phone will get as scratched up...

Do you just mean the protector itself is getting scratched? That doesn't really matter to me personally. When the screen is on, it's just so damn bright that all of them simply become hidden (at least to me).

I started from the top of the pro & work my way down going back afterward to get rid of any bubbles. Try centering the speaker cutout first

Umm...peel it off the plastic sheet and stick it on the screen. It fits perfectly so it'll take a few tries to get it exactly on target. Doesn't scratch very easily. If you get finger prints or dust under it, just run it under some warm water to clean it off. I carry my phone in my pocket and I don't see a scratch on it yet after a couple weeks of owning it.

The one that is on the phone is intended to be taken off immediately.

The screen protector that comes with the phone in the case with the cd is a pretty good free protector. All you do is clean your screen as clean as possible. Some even run a hot shower to get all dust out of air and use a microfiber cloth to clean screen.

Make sure it is lined up perfectly and as you peel it off the backing put it on the screen. It works great. Definitely not the best, but for free it cant be beaten!

I am just concerned that 3 weeks from now I will not be able to see the screen from the amount of scratches on the protector...

Hmm... mine didn't have a backing on it at all.

Do you have to wet it or something?
