Help me tweak my Touch Pro

This is my first PDS/Smart Phone. I am totally new at this. I was reading through the Touch Pro Essentials thread, and completely don't understand a word of it. Can someone walk me through how to tweak my phone?

At first I thought the instructions on how to do something was a file path (like this [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs] Set SMSNoSentMsg to 1) but apparently it's not.

Can anyone walk me through step by step and where to input this information on my phone?
